12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy review: Gameburger's Irish slot with EpicStrike pot prizes up to 5,000x, free spins and a 92.07% RTP at Moolzy.
12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy at a glance
12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy is an Irish luck slot from Gameburger Studios, the team behind the original 9 Pots of Gold series. The game keeps the famous EpicStrike pot-prize mechanic — land pot symbols anywhere and climb a prize ladder — and adds a Drum Frenzy twist with rhythmic bonus action and an enhanced free spins round. This review covers how the pot prizes work, the free spins, the 92.07% RTP at Moolzy, and who this slot suits best.
Key facts
Provider: Gameburger Studios. Reels: 5x3 with 20 fixed paylines. RTP: 92.07% at Moolzy. Volatility: medium. Maximum win: 5,000x your stake. Features: EpicStrike pot prizes, Drum Frenzy free spins, wild symbols. Devices: plays in any mobile or desktop browser with no download, and a free demo is available at Moolzy.
How the EpicStrike pot prizes work
The heart of the game is the pot symbol. Land three or more pots anywhere on the reels in a single spin and you win an instant cash prize from the EpicStrike ladder — the more pots, the bigger the prize. Filling the screen with twelve pots awards the top prize of 5,000x your stake. Because pots pay from any position, every spin carries two ways to win: standard payline combinations and the pot ladder itself.
Drum Frenzy free spins
Land three drum scatter symbols to trigger the Drum Frenzy free spins round. Before the spins begin, a bonus wheel decides your number of free spins and a win multiplier that applies to payline wins throughout the round. Pot prizes still pay during free spins, so the biggest sessions come from combining a strong multiplier with a heavy pot landing. Retriggers are possible when more drums appear.
RTP and volatility explained
At Moolzy, 12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy runs at a 92.07% RTP, below the 96% benchmark many players use as a reference — Gameburger ships the game in several settings, so always check the in-game info panel. Medium volatility means a steadier ride than high-volatility slots: smaller wins arrive regularly, and the pot ladder adds occasional bigger spikes. If payout rate is your priority, our best high-RTP slots list shows games that return more over time.
How it compares
If you enjoy feature-heavy slots with instant-prize mechanics, 12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy sits nicely between the classics on the Moolzy shelves. Le Bandit offers a similar collect-and-win feel with a higher ceiling and more volatile gameplay, while 1001 Arabian Nights is the calmer, traditional free-spins option. For a simple medium-volatility fruit slot, 100 Stunning Fruits is the stripped-back alternative.
Tips before you play
Try the free demo first to see how often the pot symbols land — the EpicStrike ladder drives most of the excitement. Medium volatility still means dry spells, so pick a stake that gives you at least 100 spins of bankroll. Set a loss limit and a win target before you start, and never raise your stake to chase the top pot prize — every spin is random and independent.
Our verdict
12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy is a cheerful, easy-to-follow Irish slot with a genuinely exciting instant-prize mechanic. The EpicStrike pot ladder keeps every spin interesting, the Drum Frenzy free spins add a multiplier layer, and medium volatility makes it friendly for casual sessions. The 92.07% RTP at Moolzy is the main drawback, but if you enjoy pot-prize slots, this is one of the most polished takes on the formula.
